At Africafans, we have made the security of your data and media a priority.
We feel it's very important to protect your publications, as you are the sole master of your content.
That's why it's totally forbidden for fans to record the creators' media and share them on the Internet.
Users who fail to comply with our rules will be blacklisted from our network and their details passed on to the appropriate party.

How does Africafans protect my media?

The right click is disabled and does not allow downloading of photos (computer).
the download button on video players has been removed (computer, mobile).
No URL reconciliation between your blurred media and their unblurred sources.
media drag & drop is disabled and cannot be saved (computer).
Extended click to save media via mobile is disabled (mobile).

Protection of personal data

All personal data linked to your account are totally confidential.
They will never be transmitted to third parties or displayed on public parts of the site.
Only your username and the information you wish to make public will appear.

What can I do if someone distributes my media without my consent?

If, despite our safeguards, you come across content belonging to you that is being distributed on other platforms/sites without your consent,
please report it to us. Take note of the URLs and any other information we need to investigate.
Our legal team will take swift action to have the content removed and, if necessary, take legal action.

How do outpayments work?

Payouts are 80%, Africafans applies a 20% commission. Please note: bank charges apply depending on the payment method used by fans.

Suppose you've set the price of your subscription at $10, the fan has 2 options for paying for the subscription to your services,

either via the wallet: $10 - 20% (Africafans) = $8 is credited to your account. (the fan pays the "3%+0.30/transaction" bank charges when the wallet is loaded)

or by direct payment via credit card: $10- 20% (Africafans) - 3% - $0.30 (bank charges) = $7.46 are credited to you.

Do I have to declare my winnings?

It is important to note that you are not an employee of Africafans. You are therefore responsible for paying social security contributions and/or taxes on income generated via the africafans.co platform according to the laws in force in your country.
Africafans does not transmit any information concerning your earnings to the administrative authorities of your country and cannot be held responsible if you do not declare your earnings in your country.
